AGL completes delisting project from the Nigeria Stock Exchange (NSE)

Pikwik Nigeria Ltd was established

The group further invested in Chrisstahl Nig Ltd, a distributor of plumbing & industrial pipes, safety valves and fittings.

Druckfarben Nigeria Ltd (DFN) was formed on the March of 2010, which forms a subsidiary of the Leventis group, responsible for the pre-mixing, production and distribution of inks for flexible packaging to the Nigerian Printing Industry.

Leventis Technical Limited was formed, whilst it retained ownership of valuable freehold and leasehold property throughout the country.

The first store was opened in Lagos, providing a whole wide range of consumer goods and products. It grew very rapidly with branches all over the six geo-political zones in Nigeria.

Over the years, the Company expanded into various parts of Nigeria investing in properties and also in general trade and the sales and service of motor vehicles. The Company later devolved into Leventis Motors Limited (established in 1958)

The country’s premier International hotel started operations which was considered “a landmark of the Lagos Metropolis”. The hotel is notable for having been the setting for the signing of Nigeria Declaration of Independence from Britain.

The Nigerian Bottling Company Ltd (NBC) is incorporated in November 1951, as a subsidiary of the A.G Leventis Group with the franchise to bottle and sell products of the Coca-Cola Company in Nigeria.

The history of A.G. Leventis (Nigeria) Plc started when Chief A. G. Leventis himself formed a trading company known as A.G. Leventis & Company Limited in Ghana in 1937. The main activities of the company were importing and wholesaling of textile goods.
